Great to meet you!
Hello! I’m Kent Robin, a PMHNP with a deep commitment to mental health shaped by personal and professional experiences. From my grandfather’s depression to supporting my partner’s mental health challenges, these insights have made me a compassionate practitioner. I earned my MSN in Psychiatric Nursing and have worked in various units since 2020, currently serving as a staff nurse in LA, focusing on medication management and stress-coping strategies.
A bit about my approach to therapy
I perform detailed assessments to identify physical, lifestyle, and social factors affecting mental health, ensuring holistic care through collaboration with healthcare providers. My methods include mindfulness, meditation, exercise, and nutrition to enhance well-being. I develop customized treatment plans featuring therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes, tailored to each client’s preferences and cultural background for engaged, culturally sensitive care.
What you can expect from our first session
Improve your understanding of complex feelings and situations for clearer articulation of experiences. Utilize effective coping mechanisms for stress, anxiety, and depression. We’ll set and work on small, achievable goals, empowering gradual progress. Focus on specific topics, regularly review and adjust goals based on feedback, and reflect on changes in thoughts, behaviors, or emotions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for you, working together towards a healthier
future.
